3rd Lair BMX

The 3rd Lair Skatepark is an indoor and outdoor facility for skateboarding, in-lining skating, bikes, rollerskates, wheelchairs, heelys, remote controled cars, unicyclers and scooters. Our facility is professionally staffed with experienced action sport athletes. We have rental equipment and instructors available so anybody is welcome to give it a try.

We have a completely stocked Pro Shop for all equipment purchases. We have no age limit. Everybody must sign a waiver release form at each location (under 18 – parents must sign)

We have 2 metro area locations -

Monday:12-3
Wednesday: 6-9, 9-11*BMX only
Friday: 12-3
Sunday: 6-9

Feel free to call ahead during non-bmx sessions, if it’s quiet in the park feel free to come ride!

The 3rd Lair SkatePark went into business in February of 1997. Since then we developed a reputation as being one of the nation’s finest indoor / outdoor skateparks. We have now grown into a 25,000 square foot facility just outside of Minneapolis in Golden Valley, MN.

Our skatepark is owned and operated by action sport athletes who have devoted their lives to the sport and to working with the kids that use the facility.

Our pro – shop is always stocked with latest gear from all of the core companies and our friendly staff is always on hand to assist with repairs and purchases.

The 3rd Lair SkatePark is dedicated to operating a safe, drug – free facility that promotes all aspects of the action sports industry.

We host several amateur contests each year and will soon be holding an annual, professional street and bowl competition. We also hold many special events at the skatepark several times a year such as ‘all – nighters’, video premieres, music concerts and skate camps.

Our 3rd Lair ‘Demo Team’ holds clinics, contests and skate camps at other local area skateparks during the summer. We also do demonstrations with our mobile skatepark throughout the Midwest at festivals, carnivals, State Fairs and any other special events.
