Great turnout for the first MPLS Mini Jam at the Hopkins Overpass! We had beginner & expert classes for all of the mini comps. We are super pumped on everyone who came to support our local BMX scene! Even long time locals Tony Mortenson & Todd Johnson made an appearance!

Starring Haines, Dewitt, Schlegel, Book, Pirate, Treanor, Walker, Elstran, Mies, Dussl, Moyle, Palmquist, Mortenson, Grice, Bilich, Tufty, Short, Tomczik, Nendza, Trygstad, Polaschek, Almquist, Thiel, Willis, Light (yes, we’re bringing the young guns this year, 9 years old w/ 16″ wheels baby, literally), plus more special guests. Our shows easily exceed four figures on a daily basis, not our fault we’re more entertaining than the all new Premium Series John Deere Tractor. Our 2011 skatepark setup is guaranteed with thousands of spins, whips, & flips… Another year, NBD.
WHEN & WHERE?
Thurs 8/25 thru Labor Day Mon 9/5 in the northwest “X-Zone” corner of fairgrounds at crossroads of Murphy & Underwood. 20 minutes of shredding, sharp at 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:30, 3:30, 5:00, 6:30, and 7:30pm followed by an epic autograph session, although don’t be surprised when you find yourself aroused in an exclusive private autograph session. (*no shows starting until 3:30pm on Mon 8/29, Tues 8/30, and Wed 8/31 due to skate contest)
2ND ANNUAL ‘CLUB 3RD LAIR’ NIGHTSHOWS.
Who has been invited back to their 11th year of throwing down at the fair? Exactly. We’re celebrating again. DJ’s, fog machines, strobe lights, LASERS, glow sticks. Last year may or may not have been so gnarly that our gogo GIRLS were booted out, no pun intended. Atmosphere provided by Sound in Motion featuring Minneapolis’ hottest local DJ’s including Jack Trash, Cities of Gold, and Guest MC Obliquity. Each ‘Club Enhanced’ night show starts at dusk (shortly after 8pm) after our last 7:30 day show on Fri 8/26 & Sat 8/27 and Fri 9/2 & Sat 9/3.
